Hello everyone!
My name is Takafumi Kudo, the organizer of this site and the representative of Faber Corporation in Tokyo. I started playing the shakuhachi under the tutelage of Master Kuniyoshi Sugawara about 30 years ago. I started playing the shakuhachi because I wanted to play Japanese traditional Zen music (Honkyoku), but since the beginning, I have been interested in playing various genres of music, especially jazz and classical music. I have started this website with the hope of sharing the charm of the shakuhachi with you through jazz and classical music. I would be very happy if you could give me your comments and opinions.

このサイトの主催者、株式会社ファベル代表の工藤孝史と申します。尺八は今から30年あまり前に菅原久仁義先生のご指導のもとはじめました。古典本曲を吹きたくて尺八を始めたのが動機ですが、習いはじめの当初からさまざまなジャンルの音楽、特にジャズとクラシック音楽を尺八で演奏することに興味がありました。この度ジャズやクラシックなどを通して皆さんと尺八の魅力を共有できれば・・・という思いからこのサイトを立ち上げました。ご意見ご感想などいただければ大変嬉しいです。
